A warm welcome to all my dear readers reading my book review of the “Tamil” Book “மாய உலகமும் மந்திரப் புத்தகமும்” written by C.Saritha Jo, Published by “ Books for Children” with Black and white illustrations presented to us by Mr.Pillai.
The Book and the Author’s way of writing and Story making both took me to the magical world of Bommirani.
I was so fascinated by the story that it taught me four important lessons, and that’s why
I am requesting you all to read the book.
1. Endangered species are more in numbers currently and we should protect them.
2. Girls can do anything which the society believes only boys can.
3. Each living organism has a significant role in the mother Earth.
4. Elders are not just for stories; they make us travel the World.
The Journey of Mani thatha and Raghul was very captivating and the story teaches us how we call our ancestors. It also gives us knowledge about old tools used in the Kitchen. I was amazed to know that Bommirani took the magical world from marakkan the magician for a better purpose.
