The Election Commission today stalled the release of a book that is based on Rafale aircraft deal. The book was written by S Vijayan and is titled ‘Nattai Ulukkum Rafael; Bera Oozhal’ simply translating as (Rafael: laundering of the nation). EC has confiscated hundreds of copies from the Chennai-based publishing house Bharathi Pusthakalayam saying that it is a violation of model code of conduct. EC officials said that the book contains sensitive information about Rafale deal and violates rules of the Election Commission.
