நிலத்தை உழுது
பயிரிடுவோர்களை
முட்டாள் என்கிறது மநு.
மத கட்டளைகள் மூலம்,
பார்பானுக்கு மனுஸ்மிருதி
சொல்கிறது,
“உங்கள் ஆற்றலை,
விவசாயத்தின் மீது
வீணாக்காதீர்கள்!”
“சூத்திரர்களாக பிறந்தவர்கள் அனைவரும்
முற்பிறவியல் செய்த பாவங்களுக்கு விலையாக
இப்பிறப்பில் உழவு செய்கிறார்கள்,”
இப்படியாக அசமத்துவம் கொண்ட சமூதாயத்தை
மனிதமற்ற சூழ்ச்சியால், வஞ்சக மனிதர்கள்
உருவாக்குகிறார்கள்.

who plough the land,
Dumb are the ones
who cultivate it”,
So says Manu.
Through religious diktats,
The Manusmriti to the Brahmin tells,
“Do not your energy, on agriculture, waste!”
“Those born as Shudras,
All these Shudras!,
Are paying in this life,
For the sins of their past lives”
Thus they create
A society based on inequality,
This being the inhuman ploy,
Of these cunning beings.
